With over five decades of experience in custom rubber molding, we manufacture molded parts for diverse medical, agricultural, aerospace, and military applications. Iris Rubber serves as a single source for fabricating rubber molded products with metal or non-metal inserts. Compression and transfer molding processes are employed for low to medium volume production. Specially formulated rubber compounds make these molded parts heat, chemical, and abrasion-resistant.
Our extensive stock of formulations ranges from natural to exotic rubber compounds. Presses with tonnage capacities up to 500 tons allow us to mold rubber products in diameters up to 4’. We stock standard products such as inflatable air & lifting bags, mallets, hammers, seals, gaskets, and ladder shoes.
We can work with your pre-existing molds or custom design molds to meet your specific application requirements. Complex flash and burrs from rubber molded parts are removed through our cryogenic de-flashing process. For vibration isolation and abrasion resistant applications, we manufacture rubber to metal bonded parts with steel, glass, or stainless inserts.
